Results of TRANSFORMERS’ Participation in the Security 2.0 International Exhibition: Armored Vehicles Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250 and Toyota Hilux

Modern challenges in the field of national security require maximum flexibility, operational readiness, and the implementation of uncompromising protection technologies from both the defense and civil security sectors. For TRANSFORMERS, a leading Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of armored and specialized vehicles, 2025 was marked by a major milestone. Our team participated in the large-scale international exhibition of technologies and software for security, public protection, and humanitarian demining — Security 2.0.

This reputable platform brought together leading international engineers, government delegations, representatives of law enforcement agencies, and international humanitarian missions. For our company, participating in an event of this scale was an opportunity to demonstrate the high efficiency of Ukrainian engineering solutions developed on the basis of real, practical experience in operating equipment under extreme conditions. Armored and Specialized Vehicles by TRANSFORMERS: Expertise in Detail

At our exhibition stand, we presented two armored vehicles, each embodying advanced standards of concealed armoring. Our primary goal was to demonstrate to the global market that a high level of security and ballistic protection can and must harmoniously combine with reliable ergonomics and the driving dynamics of the OEM chassis.

The presented equipment generated focused interest and active discussions among exhibition visitors, foreign specialists, and representatives of specialized organizations. Experts highly praised the quality of the work, the precise fitment of the concealed armoring components, and the fact that the modification did not degrade the dynamic performance of the platforms.

This premiere was a clear demonstration that armor is not only about protection but also about uncompromising comfort, which we managed to maintain in full. The specialized vehicle is designed to ensure passenger safety in urban environments and during intercity travel, where confidentiality is paramount.

• High-Level Concealed Protection: The vehicle is equipped with a full капсула-type armored body of a concealed type, compliant with protection level PZSA-4 (according to the state standard DSTU). Visually, the vehicle has undergone virtually no changes. It completely retains the aesthetics and geometry of the civil vehicle, absolutely blending into the standard urban vehicle flow, which serves as an additional and critical safety factor.
• Preservation of the Original Interior: Inside, the cabin remains as ergonomic, functional, and comfortable as the OEM version from the manufacturer. Beneath the original interior trimming and upholstery elements, a continuous layer of certified ballistic steel and armored glazing is integrated, creating a reliable armored capsule.

Our second model is engineered for purposes requiring increased endurance, payload capacity, and off-road capability, without any compromises regarding crew safety. It is an ideal solution for specialized units, mine action operators, and humanitarian missions.

• Extended Wheelbase: The pickup modification with an extended body adds comfort to trips with a full passenger load.
• Comprehensive Engineering Upgrades: Since the total weight of the vehicle increased due to the integration of the concealed armoring package, our engineers significantly modernized the platform. The vehicle is equipped with a heavy-duty suspension and a modernized braking system, allowing it to maintain excellent handling, ride smoothness, and stability on any surface type.
• Maximum Survivability on the Move: To prevent the vehicle from immobilization in high-risk zones, the wheels are additionally equipped with a run-flat system. This technology allows the vehicle to continue moving and evacuate from danger zones even in the event of a complete loss of tire pressure due to severe damage or perforation.



Vector of Development for 2026: Engineering Innovation and Preparation for a New Premiere

We do not stop at the achieved results. The feedback received, engineering analysis, and detailed input from end-users are already actively utilized by the TRANSFORMERS design bureau to further improve current technological processes and serial production.

Our team has already launched active preparations for the next Security 2.0 exhibition, which will take place this year. We plan to demonstrate even more technological innovations and security solutions; however, which specific automotive novelty we are preparing for the premiere will remain under wraps for now.
