Specialized car for transporting people in wheelchairs.

Transformers company has completed a project to manufacture a specialized car for the rehabilitation center “4.5.0. Prykarpattia”. The vehicle based on the Opel Movano car is designed for safe and comfortable transportation of people with limited mobility. The cabin is re-equipped to transport two people in wheelchairs and two accompanying persons.

Functional advantages of the car:

• The automatic lift provides convenient access to the cabin for wheelchair users.
• Reliable internal fasteners (8 fasteners fixed to the floor) guarantee safe fixation of wheelchairs during movement.
• The adapted cabin with handrails and anti-slip floor covering meets all current standards for transporting people with disabilities.
• Glazing of the interior around the perimeter to increase visibility and lighting, including natural ventilation windows located in the side windows on one of both sides)

The project was implemented in cooperation with the rehabilitation center team - thanks to this, we were able to take into account all the practical needs of future users.
